Jerrica Benton knitted outfit

Sorry for my tardiness in uploading & sharing this but things have been hectic. Due to circumstances I haven't been able to produce any digital fan art like I usually do but I have buried my passion for Jem & the Holograms either. I've been busy knitting up a storm & this outfit of Jerrica's from the cartoon was my first port of call. I'm pretty happy with the it turned out although I do wish I could have found a lighter weight yarn for the cardigan. The best I could find for that colour was a 4ply. The drape isn't quite as supple as something knit with a 2 or 3 ply yarn but at least it doesn't sit like a potato sack on her.

The cardigan has set in sleeves & was knit with 2mm flat needles. The dress was knit from top down, backless with 3ply baby yarn that actually knits up like 2ply using 2mm flat needles. The turtleneck does up with a small button at the back of the neck.
